Western Sydney Tourism Awards
The official Western Sydney Tourism Awards 2024 is a milestone event set to celebrate the achievements of the tourism industry in Southwest and Western Sydney on October 24th 2024. The Awards aim to set a benchmark for the industry to encourage growth and participation, especially with the opening of the Western Sydney International Airport (WSI) in two years.
A great platform to recognize the industry, collaborate and network with members of parliament, industry leaders and industry of Western Sydney. Attendees can expect an evening of good food, wine, entertainment, and recognition of the best of Western Sydney.
Categories & Criteria
The Western Sydney Tourism Awards 2024 offer 13 categories to choose from. The fee to enter the Western Sydney Tourism Awards 2024 is $120.00 per category. Entrants are encouraged to enter more than one category.

This category recognises an event that committed to delivering a vibrant, safe, and diverse day time event, contributing to build livelier, safer, and better-connected communities, which in turn increases day visitation into the region.​​​​​
6. Best Visitor Economy Event - Night Visitation
This category recognizes an event that committed to delivering a vibrant, safe, and diverse night-time performance, contributing to build livelier, safer, and better-connected after-hours communities, and revitalize night-time economy of Western Sydney region.​​​
7. Outstanding Business Leader of the year
This award recognizes a business leader for their exceptional efforts in boosting the business and visitor economy beyond their usual duties.​​​​
8. Outstanding Community Engagement
This award acknowledges a business leader who has dedicated considerable effort towards enhancing the community, surpassing the responsibilities of their business role. This can include organizing fundraisers for charitable causes or actively participating in community committees that contribute to the well-being of the area, fostering a culture of giving back to the local community and region, thereby promoting a healthier lifestyle for all residents.​​
